NEXPLORA

Nexplora for Slack

Last updated: October 26, 2026

Nexplora is an AI workspace for asking questions, drafting work, and reviewing proposed actions. In Slack, mention the Nexplora bot in a channel it has joined, or send it a direct message. Use /ask followed by a question or /nx followed by a request. Try /ask help or /nx help for instructions. Interactive messages let you approve, deny, or request changes to a proposed action.

AI can make mistakes. Reads and explicitly requested reversible changes, such as joining a channel, run straight away. Sends (including posting messages), deletions, payments, deploys and admin changes wait for your OK. Other changes you did not explicitly request also wait for your approval. Language model output can be inaccurate. Check answers and proposed changes before relying on them. Approval is required even if a request comes from an automated workflow.

Install and connect

Add to Slack

  • Sign in to Nexplora, or create a Nexplora account if you do not have one. Return to this install flow after signing in.
  • Choose your Slack workspace, review the permissions, and approve in Slack. Your workspace may require an administrator to allow the app.
  • If you started from a Marketplace approval without a Nexplora session, you will be asked to approve again so the connection belongs to your signed-in account.

After installation

You return to Nexplora’s Connected view. Check that Slack shows as connected, then return to Slack, add Nexplora to the channel where you want help, and mention it with a question. You can also DM the bot or try /nx help. When an action needs approval, review the approval message before allowing it. If the bot cannot recognize your account or workspace, contact support; installing alone does not verify every member’s identity.

Permissions requested today

The current connector supports a broader set of requested Slack tasks than basic chat. These are the permissions the install currently requests. Granting a permission does not approve an action.

Data handling

Nexplora receives the messages and requests you send it, Slack user and workspace identifiers, and content retrieved for your requested work. Requests and replies may be stored as conversation history and processed by AI services to provide answers. Do not send information you are not permitted to share. See the Privacy Policy for processing and retention details, Terms, Security, and Data deletion for deletion requests.

Disconnect or uninstall

In Nexplora, open Connected, choose Slack, and select Disconnect to remove the stored connection. In Slack, open your workspace’s app management, choose Nexplora, and remove the app to revoke its workspace access. Removing access does not itself delete earlier conversation history; follow the data deletion instructions for that.

Support

If installation fails, confirm you can install apps in the selected Slack workspace and retry from Add to Slack. For account linking, missing replies, or uninstall help, use Contact or email [email protected]. You can email us without creating an account. Include the problem and time it occurred; never send access tokens.
